Kobe Bryant Endorsed Lenovo K900 hits PH store

It sure has taken its sweet time to get here.

The Kobe Bryant-endorsed Lenovo K900 has finally arrived in the Philippines—six months after we first saw it in Las Vegas. Good thing that it’s quite affordable at P22,999.

In fact, P22,999 may very well be the lowest price you'll pay for a souped-up smartphone with a scratch-resistant, 1,080 x 1,920 touch display thus far—and that's with manufacturer's warranty from Lenovo Philippines.

Lenovo’s 5.5-inch flagship smartphone is one of the first Intel-based Android handsets; underneath the hood is a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor operating at 2GHz.

It’s only 6.9mm thick and scores just below the Samsung Galaxy S4 on AnTuTu benchmark. Now that’s impressive.

But unlike the S4, this one’s not LTE-enabled, so if you’re looking to take advantage of our telcos’ LTE services, this device is not for you.

One thing going for the Lenovo K900 vis-à-vis the S4? It scores many pogi points because of its brushed aluminum body. We just wish that its top and bottom bezels weren’t that thick.
Other specs you should know: PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 2GB of RAM. Built-in storage is set at 16GB with no option for microSD expansion.
The K900 at least supports file transfers via a microUSB OTG [on-the-go] cable. It also features 13- and 2-megapixel rear and front cameras and a non-removable battery rated at 2,500mAh.
